Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost - 14k Gold Filled Handstamped 1/4" Bracelet

$54.95

A 1/4" inch wide bracelet made from 14k gold fill and hand-stamped by the Foxwise crew with ‘Not all those who wander are lost,’ from Tolkien's poem "All that is gold does not glitter" in Lord of the Rings:

All that is gold does not glitter,
Not all those who wander are lost;
The old that is strong does not wither,
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire shall be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring;
Renewed shall be blade that was broken,
The crownless again shall be king

This is shown in our Handwriting Caps font.

This bracelet is adjustable, and is made from 14k gold fill. Gold-filled jewelry, also known as "rolled gold" or "rolled gold plate" is composed of a solid layer of gold bonded with heat and pressure to a base metal such as brass. Some high quality gold-filled pieces have the same appearance as 14 karat (58%) gold. In the USA the quality of gold filled is defined by the Federal Trade Commission. If the gold layer is 12 karat or higher (ours is 14 karat) the minimum layer of karat gold in an item stamped GF must equal at least 1/20 the weight of the total item. Unlike "gold plated" items, gold filled jewelry can - with the proper care - last for decades or longer.

Please note that because hand stamping is not a replacement for machine-engraving, your jewelry is not going to feature perfectly even, uniform text.  Variations and a bit of whimsy are to be expected; this is part of the charm of hand-stamped jewelry, as each piece is truly one of a kind and can never be duplicated exactly.
